Boasting over 150 waterfalls, almost all of which have easy access, a stable climate guaranteeing long periods of cold weather, a local population that welcomes visiting climbers and some great skiing for those ôrest daysö - Rjukan is an ice climber's dream. Situated in the centre of southern Norway, with fairly easy access from the main cities, including Oslo it is still relatively unknown but most climbers who visit return again and again and are all in agreement about the quality of the climbing available.
