Care Plus® Hadex® Drinking water disinfectant

Drinking water (intended for human consumption) is less safe in many hot countries, among others, than what you are used to in your own country. Drinking water is therefore often the cause of stomach and intestinal upsets (diarrhoea), as well as diseases such as (para-)typhoid, dysentery, cholera, etc. You can considerably reduce the chances of infection by paying constant attention to what you eat and drink. Be very careful about drinking water!

Care Plus® Hadex®Care Plus® Hadex® is a drinking water disinfectant based on chlorine. The use of Care Plus® Hadex® is recommended in places where there is doubt about the bacteriological safety of the drinking water. Use Care Plus® Hadex® to disinfect water from taps, springs and wells which is in principle intended for human consumption.

Ideal for use in drinking water to be consumed on pleasure trips, canal barges and boats, caravans and campers: for the first fill-up at the start of the season, dissolve 1 container of Care Plus® Hadex® (30 ml.) in 150 litres of water. The dosage for individual consumption is one drop in a glass of water (0.2 litre). Care Plus® Hadex® needs 30 minutes to do its work, after which the water can be drunk safely.

Please note!: When being transported, Care Plus ® Hadex® must be kept in the plastic bag supplied with it, in order to prevent staining by possible leaks. Care Plus® Hadex® is not flammable or explosive.
