Just had Dave's first report back from his Ice Fest which is based in Vallouise. Dave, Paul and Dave T went into the Fournel valley yesterday and climbed the classic 300m 1V / 4+ 'beating the retreat'

which was in really good conditions. Dave also mentioned that on abbing the route they had to put in all the V thread anchors so make sure you are all carrying enough cord with you on your adventures!!........
