Super technical crampon with full anti balling plate....

Having just had a chance to use these on the Peglers ice fest 2, I was impressed.
I wore them on my Mammut Mamook Thermo, which they fitted on very well. The point configuration was good, and always seemed to inspire confidence in my footwork, clearly being new and very sharp helps here, whether on rock or on the small amount of mixed that I climbed.
In comparing them to Petzl Charlet Dart's and Grivel G20 (which are what I have been using for the last 4 or 5 years) which are both very good on Ice, the only drawback is it is a little heavier, but in having a full anti-balling plate (lime green !!) on the front and rear sections I think the extra safety this offers on mountain routes or Icefall routes with the inevitable snowslopes means these getb the thumbs up from me.
