NEW LIGHTER MATERIALS FOR SUMMER 2005 A versatile medium capacity sack, ideal for Alpine and Scottish Winter ascents. Its ‘modular’ design allows for the removal of hood, padded waistbelt and framesheet, thus considerably reducing weight and bulk if required. Features: Dyneema® reinforced Cordura® fabric. Removable HDPE framesheet with flexible alloy stay. Extendable and removable hood with two zip pockets. EVA foam padded S-shaped shoulder straps with adjustable sternum strap. Removable foam-padded waistbelt with harness-style gear loops. 5 compression straps (2 each side, 1 top) for volume control and stability. Supplementary webbing waist-strap (for use when padded belt is removed). Internal pocket for soft-bodied water reservoir, up to 2 litre capacity (not provided) plus exit hole for tube. Heavy duty ‘Leno’ mesh wand-pockets. Shock-cord ice-tool attachments. Capacities: Size 1 — 42 litres + 10 litres extension Size 2 — 50 litres + 12 litres extension Size 3 — 53 litres + 12 litres extension.
