Black Diamond Viper 06

Combining the proven head design and pick durability of the impressive Cobra with an alloy shaft that, like the Cobra's carbon fibre shaft, changes orientation along its length results in Cobra-like performance - but much cheaper. The small pommel at the base of the shaft helps support the butt of your hand and the Viper Fang is available as an upgrade that cradles your hand for leashless climbing. Being removable means the Viper sits in the hard-core and all-round categories, (though you will have to check your hand will fit behind it - mine didn't) The modified android leash specifically for the Viper is a superb clipper system keeping the take-off point nice and low, which is less tiring on steep ground. Only one left!!!
